Citrus supply chains (CSC) are increasingly important in research due to high loss and waste, increasing demand, wide application for other industries, differences CSCs from country country. This study proposes a new structure CSC by introducing collection points collect citrus the farms Jordan Valley transport it hub responsible receiving, packaging, transporting distribution centers. The objective of this is minimize waste provide chain (SC) with stable infrastructure track initial stages implement technologies such as Cold SC. Therefore, crucial find optimum number points, hubs, locations based on carbon footprint transportation costs. model introduced was solved using Open Solver Adds-ins after collecting data distances coordinates Google Maps altitude those SolarGIS. After running model, found that 52 hubs two. results showed costs one lower 30%, whereas two 60% compared current location central market fruits vegetables (CM). “kg CO2 e/kg citrus” values 0.48 0.24 respectively, which significant reduction CM, 0.69 kg citrus. installing will improve overall sustainable performance CSC. Future might be directed integrate circular economy into possible applications waste.
